Eurostar trains cancelled for the rest of the day after an unexploded WWII bomb found
Eurostar trains from London to Paris have been cancelled for the rest of the day after an unexploded WW2 bomb was found on the tracks.
The bomb was found in the Saint-Denis area of Paris during overnight works last night at 4 am.
The disruptions aren’t just on the London to Paris line, but further disruptions including the services to Belgium and The Netherlands as well as local metros have also been impacted.
Crowds of people are waiting patiently at the Gare du Nord terminal and outside the check-in area at St Pancras.
The disruption is also impacting local metros and national and international train services to Belgium and the Netherlands as police try to disable the device
