2035 UK bid for women’s World Cup
The Times reports the Home Nations have put in a bid to host the 2035 Women’s World Cup – with matches in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The bid comes after England hosted and won the 2022 Women’s Euros and saw a massive boost in support to women’s football.
