When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw and when will the fixtures be played?

The fifth round of the FA Cup is played this weekend, with just eight clubs remaining in the competition by the end of Monday night.

There have already been some huge casualties in the tournament, with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea all eliminated early on.

The dream of silverware is still alive for underdogs like Plymouth Argyle, Cardiff City and Millwall, but there are still some big fish in the FA Cup pond.

There are five Championship clubs in the last 16, with Burnley and Preston facing each other, so one second flight side will definitely be in the quarter-finals.

Manchester City and Manchester United may be having terrible seasons by their standards, but both are still alive and in contention to win the FA Cup.

The likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are also still in the running and among the favourites.

How many will be in the draw when it is made on Sunday night? Here is everything you need to know about the quarter-final draw, including how to watch live on TV.

When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw?

The draw for the last eight of the competition will be made on Sunday 2 March after the match between Manchester United and Fulham.

That game kicks off at 4.30pm, live on BBC One, so the exact time of the draw is not certain, but will follow the conclusion of the game.

There will be one either/or as Nottingham Forest host Ipswich Town in the final fifth round match on Monday night.
