Kelsey Parker is expecting her third child, almost three years on from husband Tom Parker’s death.
The influencer, who has widely documented her grief journey across social media, is already a proud mum to children, Aurelia, now five, and Bodhi, four.
She shares the little ones with The Wanted star Parker, who died in March 2022 at the age of 33 following a terminal brain tumour diagnosis.
Kelsey, 33, is now in a relationship with boyfriend Will Lindsay, and the couple are overjoyed to be expanding their family.
Sharing her happy news, Kelsey said she believes late husband Parker gave his ‘blessing’ for her to have another baby.
She and the Glad You Came singer did actually try to have more children together, but sadly it wasn’t to be.
Speaking to OK! Magazine as she reveals her baby bump to the world, Kelsey said: ‘Tom and I always said we wanted four—but life had other plans.
‘So yes, this is amazing but also bittersweet. The joys of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, while thinking, “My life could have been so different.”
‘I’ve felt every emotion under the sun. I’m still getting my head around it, but I’m so excited.’
Kelsey added that she is ‘just trying to find the joy’ in life, praising her two children for ‘getting [her] through the worst times.’
On moving forward, she mused: ‘If I dwelled on everything that’s happened, I wouldn’t be here.
‘Tom was my soulmate. I’m still angry he’s gone. But I can’t live in sadness. Tom wouldn’t want that.’
Kelsey lives in the second family home she shared with Parker, now with her partner Will.
She resided there for just eight months with Parker before he died, but Kelsey believes he ‘picked it for [her]’.
Will then ‘gradually moved in’ and they made it their home.
The 27-year-old met Kelsey on a night out and they went public with their romance last September.
Her third baby, and first with Will, is now due in June, a pregnancy she describes as a ‘happy accident.’
Kent-born Will, who works as a tree surgeon, chimed in to say he is ‘over the moon’ about becoming a father, as it’s something he has ‘wanted for a long time.’
‘I couldn’t be happier and I know Kelsey is going to be an amazing mum, as she already is.’
As for Parker’s other relatives, Kelsey insists that his mother, Noreen, ‘gave her blessing instantly.’
‘We’ve all been through so much together. But I’m here and bringing another baby into the world.’
Parker and his The Wanted bandmates – Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes – began their careers together in 2009 when the group was formed.
They went on to release several major hits, including Gold Forever, Lightning, Chasing the Sun, and All Time Low.
Following Parker’s death, his bandmates and Kelsey have continued honouring his legacy. This included Kelsey organising charity football matches annually in his memory during June, which raises money for a brain tumour charity.
