    First phase of ceasefire deal comes into effect in Gaza

    The first stage of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas begins Sunday at 8:30am local time (6:30 GMT). Phase one of the three-phase deal includes a suspension of military operations to allow hundreds of trucks of humanitarian aid into Gaza as well as the staggered release of Palestinian prisoners and Israeli hostages.
