Elon Musk follows up – and criticizes the “suicidal compassion of the people

On Friday evening, the tech billionaire called for Olaf Scholz’s immediate resignation. The day after the attack in Magdeburg, Elon Musk published further messages: Germany should have extradited the Saudi assassin.

The billionaire and advisor to the next US President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, sharply criticized the German authorities and the federal government after the attack on the Magdeburg Christmas market. On Sunday night, Trump’s designated Vice President JD Vance also got in and indirectly recommended – like Musk before him – the election of the AfD.

“It’s so dangerous when people control their borders. So, so dangerous. The level of danger is off scale,” he said ironically against a critic of Musk’s AfD recommendation.

Already on Friday evening, shortly after the first reports of the death trip with at least five fatalities, Musk attacked Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz head-on. “Scholz should resign immediately,” Musk wrote on Platform X. And added: “incompetent fool.” Musk also shared a comment from a user who described the incident as a direct result of unregulated “mass immigration”.

On Saturday, Musk added: Anyone who allowed the perpetrator into the country must be severely punished – after all, Saudi Arabia had demanded the man’s extradition.

The Magdeburg suspect is 50-year-old Taleb al-Abdulmohsen from Saudi Arabia. He came to Germany in 2006, worked as a doctor and appeared publicly as an opponent of Islam and as a helper for refugees from the Gulf region. In 2016 he received asylum as a politically persecuted person. In an interview with the “HE DOESHe said in 2019: They wanted to “slaughter” him if he returned to Saudi Arabia. Recently he apparently felt persecuted and made confusingly worded accusations against German authorities.

The Saudi authorities contacted Germany several times and pointed out the man’s posts on social networks. The kingdom had requested his extradition, but Germany had not responded, according to Saudi security circles.

Musk is now sharply criticizing the fact that Germany did not extradite al-Abdulmohsen. “Yes, he was obviously a madman who should never have entered Germany and who was supposed to be extradited when Saudi Arabia made the request,” Musk wrote on Saturday. And added: “Suicidal compassion on the part of the German government.”

In the X-profile of al-Abdulmohsen himself there are words of praise for Elon Musk and also the AfD. For example, he called for a restrictive migration policy.

On Sunday night, Musk upped the ante again. He spread the account of a German-Iranian techno music entrepreneur that the perpetrator was a covert Islamist. Although this depiction is pure speculation, Musk wrote that the legacy media brands were spreading “pure propaganda.”

Tech billionaire Musk has recently repeatedly commented on European, especially German, politics. He only caused a stir on Friday when he spoke out in favor of the AfD on X: “Only the AfD can save Germany,” wrote Musk.
