In Bolivia, an arrest warrant has been issued against former President Evo Morales for “human trafficking” involving a 15-year-old girl during his term in office. “The exceptional measure of six months of preventive detention in a public prison is requested,” said Bolivian Attorney General Róger Mariaca on Monday evening.
A few hours earlier, prosecutor Sandra Gutiérrez announced that she had ordered Morales’ arrest because he had refused to appear in court on the charges.
