Daily Express – Kate back at work to prepare for Xmas concert
The Express says the Princess of Wales has started planning her Christmas carol concert. A photograph of Catherine, Prince Louis and Prince Charlotte attending a royal carol service at Westminster Abbey in 2023 accompanies the story. The princess, 42, had taken some time away from public engagements while undergoing treatment for cancer.
Elsewhere the front page reports the British government has told Brits in Lebanon to get out of the Middle Eastern country amid fears of an all-out regional war.
Princess Kate ramps up work schedule as she plans for major event after cancer battle
Princess Kate has shown her determination to return to work after her cancer ordeal as she spent time planning for her Christmas Carol Concert today.
In her most positive sign that Kate, 42, is returning to good health, she held her second official meeting of the year just a week after her first was recorded in the court circular.
Commentators have hailed the meeting – where she is understood to have discussed plans for her annual festive concert at Westminster Abbey – with one describing it as “a very good sign she is battling back to full fitness”.
The princess revealed earlier this month that she had finished her chemotherapy and hopes to undertake “a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can”.
This was followed up with her first official meeting of the year at Windsor Castle last Tuesday on her early years project, and today the Princess held her second audience.
UK moves hundreds of troops to Lebanese doorstep as British nationals urged to leave
British nationals must leave Lebanon now, according to a stark Government warning issued tonight.
The troubling news comes after a significant escalation of conflict in the region between Israel and Lebanon.
Support will be put in place to support British nationals both in Lebanon and the region, as they are told to leave “immediately”.
Last night, PM Sir Keir Starmer said: “The most important message from me this evening is to British nationals in Lebanon, to leave immediately and I just want to reinforce that.
“Yes, we are ramping up the contingency plans, I think that you would expect that in light of the escalation.
