Express Sport – Chelsea in the Enzo Zone
The back page of the Daily Express reports Chelsea have agreed a deal with Leicester City to make Enzo Maresca their new manager, according to reports. The Italian is set to be handed a bumper five-year contract and the Foxes are in line to receive a healthy compensation fee.
Elsewhere, Manchester United have reportedly identified Jarrad Branthwaite as a priority transfer target this summer but are determined to avoid overpaying for the Everton defender. And Sir Jim Ratcliffe is claimed to have made his firm stance clear to the Toffees, who need to raise funds through player sales in the coming months.
The paper also has room to report on Rafael Nadal and whether he’ll play at Wimbledon. The paper says Rafael Nadal is set to miss Wimbledon and will make a decision on his future after playing the Olympics later this summer. The 14-time French Open champion lost to world No.4 Alex Zverev today to go out in the opening round for the first time ever.
