Metro – Celebrity 16:8 fast doubles the risk of dying
A study has found a fasting regime popular with celebrities can increase people’s risk of dying from heart disease, Metro reports. The study claims intermittent fasting – an eating regime where adherents restrict food intake to limited hours in the day – almost doubles the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease.
The paper also pokes fun at Rishi Sunak with its reference to Barack Obama’s visit to Downing Street on Monday – “Popular leader inside No 10”.
