Fresh hope for families of people on vanished Malaysia Airlines flight MH370

Hope has been given to the families of the people on board Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which disappeared a decade ago.

After perhaps the most extensive search in aviation history, the fate of the aircraft remains a mystery – and a source for multiple conspiracy theories.

Renewed search for the missing plane

As the 10th anniversary approaches, Malaysia is pushing for a renewed search for the missing plane.

Flight MH370, a Boeing 777 carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew, vanished while en route from the capital Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, 2014.

It was a suspicious and mysterious disappearance which has led to lots of conspiracy theories, yet without any real outcome for the families of the victims, who haven’t given up hope on finding some answers.

The mystery surrounding Malaysia flight MH370

The mystery surrounding Malaysia flight MH370 has gripped the world since its disappearance nearly a decade ago. Netflix and other streaming platforms have all done documentaries about what could have happened.

While the plane has not been found, clues have been scattered across nearby seas.

Debris confirmed or believed to be from the aircraft has washed up along the African coast and on islands in the Indian Ocean, including a wing flag in Tanzania, a wing fragment in Mauritius and a flaperon in Reunion Island.

“Meaningful changes have been made to prevent a repeat of this tragedy, but I am also clearly aware that the task remains incomplete,”

    Malaysian transport minister Anthony Loke

Loke also added the tragedy had been a “wake-up call to the aviation sector at home and abroad.”
