In her criticism of the Tories, shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves has said if Labour win the next election the party will inherit the worst economic situation since World War Two, says the Mirror.
That is enough for the paper to twist the famous Harold Macmillan quote for its headline “Never had it so bad”.
Also prominently featured is a picture of Prince Harry and Meghan after the prince lost a High Court challenge over his security when he’s in the UK. The paper says the decision hits “hopes of healing a rift” with King Charles.
