Skins star splits from husband after eight-year marriage

A Skins actress has split from her actor husband after an eight-year marriage.

Kaya Scodelario, 31, who shot to fame after playing wild teen Effy on the Channel 4 teen drama, has separated from The Rings of Power actor Benjamin Walker, 41.

Their break-up was announced in a joint statement in which the former couple said they will ‘continue to co-parent lovingly’ their two children: a daughter, aged two, and a son, seven.

It has been claimed that the Maze Runner actress and Benjamin secretly split last year but have remained ‘the best of friends’ ever since.

‘Some time ago Kaya and Ben made the joint decision to end their marriage but continue to co-parent lovingly whilst remaining the best of friends,’ their reps said in a joint statement.
