Iconic UK band announce split after 20 years
It’s the end of an era for pop punk fans across the UK as You Me At Six announce they are splitting after two decades of performing.
The band, consisting of Josh Franceschi, Max Helyer, Chris Miller, Matt Barnes and Daniel Flin, will wrap up their 20 years together over the next year.
On X, the official account tweeted: ‘2005-2025 This is the end. Thank you for being the heartbeat of this band.’
Forming in 2005 in Weybridge, Surrey, You Me At Six found success with their debut album Take Off Your Colours four years later.
Their final live shows will take place in 2024 and 2025 when they embark on a farewell world tour filled with rock and punk hits to say goodbye to fans.
