The Daily Mirror leads on calls on the government from grieving mothers to change the law to give tougher sentences for domestic violence killers.
The paper launches a campaign – Justice for our Daughters – to help what it describes as the bid to stop domestic violence killers being jailed for a decade less than other murderers. Grieving mum Carole Gould is pictured on the front page with her late daughter Ellie who was murdered in her home in 2019 by her ex-boyfriend Thomas Griffiths.
