FA investigates crowd trouble during Wolves vs West Brom

The FA is investigating crowd trouble during the first Black Country derby in 12 years.

The match between Wolves and West Brom was interrupted for 35 minutes due to the disturbance.

The trouble began in the Halfords Lane Stand, where some West Brom players’ families were seated. Wolves fans in that area were seen celebrating Matheus Cunha’s goal, leading to fighting and chaos on the pitch.

Missiles were thrown, and West Brom’s Kyle Bartley intervened to protect his family, later following the Wolves players off the pitch on officials’ advice.
