The Traitors has to come to an end (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Mark Mainz)
The Traitors UK season 2 has been everything and more so far, but the BBC series’ time on our screens has to come to an end soon.
It’s very sad, but just like Traitor Ash Bibi’s time in Scotland’s Ardoss castle, all good things must come to an end.
On last night’s episode, Ash was banished, leaving fellow Traitors Paul Gorton, Miles Asteri, and Harry Clarke to continue their quest to make it to the end. Faithful contestant Andrew narrowly avoided departing in dramatic scenes.
Now, 17 people remain to battle it out for their share of a possible £120,000. The rules are pretty simple, but viewers know that it can lead to a game of complicated deceit.
The contestants are in two teams – Traitors and Faithfuls. The Traitors must not be discovered to win, and the Faithfuls must try to discover who they are to win. They each exit either through a round table banishment, or secret ‘murders’ committed by the Traitors.
As the show hosted by Claudia Winkleman has proved – knowledge is power – so it’s time to learn when the final episode is so we can all mentally prepare to say goodbye.
When is The Traitors finale?
The finale will be on January 26 (Picture: BBC)
The finale will take place on January 26 at 9pm on BBC One, the broadcaster has confirmed.
Before the month is over, we’ll know who got to keep the money – unless, of course, you are behind and have to watch on iPlayer.
The synopsis reads: ‘It’s the final day of the ultimate psychological game of trust! Will any Traitors remain undetected, and take the life-changing sum of money, all for themselves?’ They aren’t giving anything away!
How often is The Traitors on?
£120,000 is up for grabs (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Mark Mainz)
The Traitors is on three times per week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9pm on BBC One. The wait from Friday’s cliffhanger to Wednesday feels painfully long!
We’ve got eight out of the 12 episodes remaining in the second season.
The first four episodes are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
