We’re all rooting for Asha Alahan and Nina Lucas (Tanisha Gorey and Mollie Gallagher) to make it through their rough patch in Coronation Street, though they may be past the point of no return following Nina’s actions in recent scenes.
Asha was surprised to get a call from her course leader who told her that former mentor Isla had been suspended following a report of inappropriate behaviour towards Asha.
This left the trainee paramedic confused because, as far as she was concerned, Isla hadn’t done anything of the sort.
While Isla and Asha had worked together, she had confessed to liking her once
, but agreed to stop mentoring her shortly after, so Asha had no idea what the report was referring to.

After confiding in best friend Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney), Asha decided that she knew exactly who had reported Isla, and headed straight home to confront girlfriend Nina.
Though Nina assured Asha that she had no idea Isla had been reported, Asha was certain that she was to blame, pointing out how she had acted out in jealousy before.
Maintaining her innocence, Nina was appalled by Asha’s accusations and ended up storming out.

However, she wasn’t alone for long, as she was later approached by Asha’s twin brother Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain), who had had a fall out with Amy earlier in the day.
The pair were quick to discuss their problems with each other, and the conversation soon turned to Aadi complimenting Nina, who was totally flattered.
As one thing led to another, the pair ended up kissing, but instantly recognised that they had made a huge mistake.

Guilty Nina went home, and was instantly hit with apologies from Asha, who explained that she had spoken to her course supervisor and learnt that the report actually came from another paramedic.
She begged Nina not to hold it against her, and Nina was quick to agree, given how she’d betrayed her only minutes earlier.
Will Nina and Aadi keep their kiss a secret, or is Nina and Asha’s relationship set to disintegrate?
