A Dancing On Ice star who was due to compete in the 2024 series had to drop out of the show after sustaining an injury.
Professional skater Tippy Packard, who joined the ITV programme in 2022, had been due to compete with Eddie the Eagle, who in turn had replaced injured Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb in the line-up.
However, after a training mishap, Tippy had to pull out of the competition, it’s been revealed.
The 28-year-old has been replaced by professional skater Vicky Ogden, who said that she was ‘thrilled’ to be joining Eddie on the ice.
A TV insider said that ‘everyone is gutted for Tippy’ after her injury.
They continued to The Sun: ‘She suffered an injury in training but we’re all hopeful that she’ll be back on the show soon.’

Metro.co.uk understands that Tippy injured her knee in the accident.
The skater had previously expressed her excitement over taking part with Eddie on Instagram, sharing a picture of her with the 60-year-old in November last year.
‘The Eagle has landed! We have completed the Class of 2024! I am so happy to introduce my partner for this series…the legend that is Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards,’ she wrote at the time, as the pair beamed at the camera.
Gogglebox’s Stephen commented underneath: ‘Yay good luck guys! I’m rooting for ya xx,’ after Eddie took his place in the competition.
More to follow.
Metro.co.uk has contacted ITV for comment.
Dancing On Ice is set to launch on Sunday at 6.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
