Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) is a woman on a mission in Coronation Street soon as she tries to stop evil thug Terry from running his puppy farm.
Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) came across Terry last month when she confronted him on the cobbles. Terry was mistreating his dog and, because of her love for the four-legged friend, Evelyn couldn’t just stand there and let him continue behaving terribly – she had to say something.
An interaction on the street developed into Evelyn stealing Terry’s dog to try and protect her, with the storyline now focusing on puppy farming.
In this new video, we see the moment Cassie breaks into Terry’s house after finding his address.

Sneaking upstairs, Cassie is taken aback to see a litter of puppies inside some crates.
With the adorable pups being kept in poor conditions, Cassie feels awful and is even more determined to help when she hears Terry shouting.
Just as Terry races upstairs with a baseball bat, Cassie hides behind a door so she isn’t caught.
With Evelyn potentially facing serious consequences after taking Terry’s dog and being questioned following his assault, what will Cassie do next to try and destroy Terry and save her mum?

‘Evelyn loves dogs, Cassie likes dogs, but she loves Evelyn and it’s kind of like a little girl wanting to please her mum, it’s the first kind of thing that they’ve had that’s been almost like a shared thing. There’s real affection there in certain moments, just a look between them or Evelyn backing her up on something.
