Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has named five players who are set to return from injury in mid-January.
The Dutch manager was asked to provide an team news update ahead of Saturday’s trip to Nottingham Forest.
United have various stars ruled out but are set to receive a boost in the coming weeks as they look to climb up the Premier League table.
The Red Devils currently sit seventh and face big games against Tottenham and Aston Villa in their next five top-flight fixtures.
‘It will be a similar squad [for the trip to Forest] as we had against Villa,’ Ten Hag said in his press conference on Friday.
‘Mid-January we expect many players back. Mason [Mount], Casemiro, [Lisandro] Martinez, [Tyrell] Malacia.
‘We expect Harry Maguire, of course. We expect many players to return in January.’

Meanwhile, Ten Hag has sent a message to Rasmus Hojlund after he finally scored his first Premier League goal in the 3-2 win over Aston Villa last time out.
‘I trust him, I knew he could, his goals in the Champions League showed he could,’ Ten Hag added.
‘What he did as a young player in Austria and Italy. This goal will give him belief he’s going to score more goals from this point on.’
