A YouTuber who was under investigation as a suspected paedophile has killed himself.
Paulo Cezar Goulart Siqueira, known as PC Siqueira, was found dead aged 37 by his girlfriend in his apartment in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on December 27.
A neighbour helped his girlfriend and called the police when he was found.
He has been under investigation for child pornography after the leak of private messages in 2020.
Siqueira had always denied the allegation.
He told his followers it was ‘criminal articulation’ to try to accuse him of ‘something terrible, which I have never committed or would commit’.
Siqueira was accused of sharing photos of a six-year-old child on June 10, 2020.
An anonymous X account released phone screen recordings where Siqueira could supposedly be seen talking to a friend about what was alleged.

He provided a statement to police and deactivated his YouTube account.
An X profile shared an exchange of messages involving Siqueira on on June 10, 2022.
He says in the messages he received an image of a naked child but denied this allegation on social media.
Siqueira wrote: ‘I was taken by surprise when I saw my name being used by a criminal organization, which tried to accuse me of something terrible, which I never committed or would commit.’
A few days before his death he told his followers he was spending his Christmas alone as he has very few friends.

He captioned the 30-second clip: ‘Merry Christmas to you who don’t have a family, don’t have many friends or don’t have money to party. You are not alone!’
Brazil’s Public Security Secretariat previously said: ‘The case continues to be investigated by the 4th Pedophilia Repression Police Station of the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP).
‘Details about the progress of the investigation will be preserved, due to the secrecy decreed by the Court.’
