It will soon be Asha and Aadi Alahan’s (Tanisha Gorey and Adam Hussain) birthday in Coronation Street, though the party plans don’t quite go to plan when Aadi upsets Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney).
Things between Aadi and Amy are complicated, with the pair having shared a kiss recently, before Amy’s trauma left her struggling with the intimacy.
However, there is no denying that they both have feelings for each other, something which Asha and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) are keen for Aadi to admit to.
When Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) reveals that he has organised a birthday lunch for the twins, neither of them are enamoured by the idea.

However, Asha manages to convince her brother to give it a go, and he decides that he will host a party afterwards at his flat.
When Asha and Nina catch wind of Aadi having invited Amy to their birthday lunch, they urge him to bite the bullet and reveal his true feelings for her.
Unfortunately, before he gets chance, it seems that he has some competition, when newcomer Bobby (Jack Carroll) asks Aadi if Amy is single.
Instantly jealous and possessive, Aadi tells Bobby that she is off the market.
