When January hits Starbucks will be introducing eight new additions to its menu, as well as two returning favourites.

The coffee chain giant is set to treat our taste buds to three new hot drinks and five light bites from January 4.

If they’re as impressive as the festive menu additions Starbucks made this year – we would know, Metro taste-tested them – then we can’t wait to try them all.

We’ve got a run-down of all the newbies, so you can plan your new year morning coffee order in advance and won’t hold up the line.

Let’s kick things off with the three new beverages. First up – the Almond Biscotti Oat Latte, coming in at £4.30. There will also be a cold version of the drink at the same price.

Think biscotti biscuit, espresso and oat milk all mixed into one delicious cup.

The third drink addition in the new year will be the golden caramel white hot chocolate at a slightly pricier £4.35. But you’re going to need a sweet tooth for this one, we think.

If the caramel syrup flavouring wasn’t enough, the hot drink is topped with whipped cream and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce.

If you need a light bite to keep that stomach from grumbling in your morning meetings, then Starbucks has you covered there too.

On the savoury snack front, Starbucks has unveiled new egg white bites with cheese, roasted peppers and spinach, which come in at £3.65.

But if you like a sweeter bite in the mornings why not chow down on the new mango and pineapple overnight oats for £3.40.

It’s packed full of mango and pineapple compote with vegan overnight oats and shredded green apple, topped with toasted coconut and diced apricot.

For an afternoon pick-me-up, you could opt for the almond biscotti cookie. It’s made with butter and brown sugar biscuit, topped with roasted almonds and white chocolate. Scrumptious.

The cookie and cream cake pop would also do the job though at just £2.40, combining vanilla cake and buttercream with a cookie and cream biscuit crumb.

It gets better though, that’s all then dipped in white chocolate and coated in even more biscuit crumb.

The last addition to the new menu but by no means least is the caramel white chocolate blondie, which consists of caramel and white chocolate chunks, and istopped with marbled caramelised white chocolate.

Starbucks lovers are also in luck if they’ve been missing the berry crunch yoghurt pot, as it’s making a return to the menu in January.

The same goes for the cheese and Marmite mini ciabatta. You’re going to be absolutely spoilt for choice.
