Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson gave us the best Christmas gift of all by recreating his iconic 90s outfit meme.
Halloween is long gone but the former WWE star and Moana actor decided to get into costume on Christmas Day and transformed into, well, himself.
Wearing a black polo neck jumper with faded jeans, a gold chain around his neck, quiffed hair and, yes, a fanny pack, Dwayne, 51, recreated the famous look he sported in a throwback photo that went viral after being unearthed years ago.
This time, the Jumanji actor was in the festive spirit and sang Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song as he strolled down the halls of his mansion.
‘Merry Christmas, from your keepin’ it 💯 friend. 90’s Rock 🖤🎄👊🏾 🥃 #TappinFannys,’ he captioned the hilarious video.
Comedian Kevin Hart was highly amused and posted a string of cry laughing emoji while actress Vivica A Fox wrote: ‘Nailed it.’

Instagram user @simmisingh declared it the ‘greatest post of all time,’ while @salif_crookboyz said it ‘never gets old.’
@franco.mabanta wondered: ‘How massive of a star do you have to be to successfully wear a costume of yourself?’
It’s not the first time Dwayne has recreated the meme as he dressed up as himself and pulled the same pose for a photo in 2017.

Last year, Dwayne finally revealed what was in his fanny pack and joked that it contained ‘a lot of inappropriate things I can’t mention right now’ but he did previously reveal in 2014 that it was full of condoms and Pop Tarts.
Speaking to E! News’ Daily Pop in 2022, he explained: ‘The funny thing about the fanny pack is, in the world of pro-wrestling in the 90s, everyone had a fanny pack.
‘All wrestlers had a fanny pack, all of them. But the one that stands out and that makes the headlines, looking like an idiot, is right here.’
