A Christmas to remember in Hollyoaks (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Hollyoaks has confirmed the return of a festive tradition, with its annual online boxset staging a comeback, allowing fans to watch all of this year’s Christmas and New Year outings in one fell swoop.
It’s common practice for the long-running serial drama to drop all of its Christmassy episodes on Channel 4’s streaming service, formerly known as All4, and it will do so again this year.
The boxset, featuring eight episodes in total, can be streamed on Friday December 22 from 7:30pm straight after the regular showing of the latest episode on E4.
Grab the popcorn and get ready to marathon them all!
It’s set to be a festive season to remember for the residents of the eponymous village, with Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) revealing the truth about James Nightingale’s (Gregory Finnegan) abuse to Ste (Kieron Richardson).
Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), meanwhile, will stage her long-awaited comeback to the village after Nana (Diane Langton) ends up in hospital, but just what does this mean for Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood)?
Will he be willing to forgive and forget her swift exit? Or will Mercedes confide in him about her affair with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas)?
Time will tell.
Hollyoaks, earlier this year, made history when it became one of the first TV soaps to stream first, with episodes dropping the day before their airing on E4.
More to come.
