We have our winners of Strictly Come Dancing 2023!

This year’s final was nothing short of spectacular, with Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell all dancing their hearts out in a bid to lift the glitter ball trophy.

But only one couple could triumph – and it was Ellie and Vito!

Much to their shock and in an incredibly emotional moment, hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced the pair as our champions.

Ellie and her Italian pro partner, 31, of course, burst into tears, in disbelief as the runners-up applauded and rushed over for a group hug.

This year’s final saw the last pairs standing perform three routines each.

These included their favourite performance of the series, a judges’ pick, and an epic show dance.

Performing first, former Coronation Street star Ellie, 22, revisited her paso doble to Insomnia, kicking off the grand final to a roaring reception and earning 39 points – with the judges’ scores only for guidance in the final.

Bobby, 20, then brought back his lively Romeo and Juliet samba from Movie Week and had everyone on their feet thanks to his hip action and infectious smile.

Following them and ahead of voting lines opening, Layton, 29, brought back his week 2 quickstep and wowed everyone with its improvement, finally earning a perfect 40 after initially scoring 36.

The three finalists then all danced a show dance, with Ellie vibing to a JLo medley, Bobby taking a trip to La La Land, and Layton celebrating his bond with Nikita to Friend Like Me.

For their final and favourite performances, Ellie danced her American Smooth, Bobby danced his couple’s choice, and Layton did the Argentine tango.
