Larry David’s legendary comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming to an end.
The star announced on Thursday that the next season of Curb, season 12, would be its last.
Curb aired for eight seasons before taking a six-year hiatus, returning for four more series.
Larry has now announced that season 12, premiering in February next yeara, will mark the final 10 episodes.
In a statement, he said: ‘As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this “Larry David” persona and become the person God intended me to be — the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character.
‘And so “Larry David,” I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed.

It was previously reported this year that season 12 would be the last, however executive producer Jeff Schaffer insisted ‘reports of our demise have been greatly exaggerated.’
Larry stars in the show as an exaggerated fictional version of himself’it is HBO’s longest-running series, and won multuiple awards including two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.
