Jamie Carragher has aimed a dig at Chelsea fans after their ‘nonsense’ chants against Everton on Sunday.
The Toffees recorded a 2-0 Premier League win over Mauricio Pochettino’s side at Goodison Park thanks to goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin.
Liverpool legend Carragher, a childhood Everton fan, was left ‘delighted’ as Sean Dyche’s side took the lead after disrespectful chanting from Blues supporters.
Chelsea fans could be hear singing ‘feed the Scousers’ in reference to poverty in the city.
‘Feed the scousers,’ Carragher posted on Twitter along with a weary face emoji.
‘Delighted Everton have gone in front after the nonsense getting sung by the Chelsea fans.’
Meanwhile, Sean Dyche was over the moon with his side’s victory over Chelsea as Everton – slapped with a 10-point deduction this season – pulled further away from the relegation zone.

‘The biggest thing for me is finding different ways to win matches,’ Dyche said. ‘Today we have had to fight against a really good side. We were going along well [before points deduction] and our form all season has been pretty good. We had to work very hard. Maximum effort from the players has got us the win.
‘The thing for me is the squad mentality. It’s not just about the starting XI. The people outside the starting XI have been a credit to themselves.
‘[Abdoulaye Doucoure has] been a credit since I walked in. He has accepted everything I have asked of him and more. He’s put endless miles on the clock. He is a credit to the team and the club.’
