Josie Gibson narrowly missed out on a place in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! final.

However, she was elated to be reunited with her five-year-old son Reggie – and pictures taken of their reunion might just bring you to tears.

It’s been confirmed that on Sunday night, Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage will go head-to-head in the final of the ITV1 competition, with one of them eventually being crowned the new King of the Jungle.

This Morning star Josie made it to the final four, which gave her the opportunity to take part in one of the show’s most highly-anticipated challenges – the Celebrity Cyclone.

When Josie, 38, found out that she would be leaving camp, she appeared excited to finally get to see her son face-to-face again.

They shared a huge hug while surrounded by several eliminated I’m A Celeb stars, including Fred Sirieix, Danielle Harold and Marvin Humes.

Reggie had his arms tightly locked around his mum’s neck, as she beamed at the crowd who had gathered to welcome her after her exit.

In a video posted on the I’m A Celeb social channels, Josie was asked about all of the ‘firsts’ she’d like to do now that she’s out of the jungle… with Reggie providing the entertaining answers.

As for what food she would like to eat first, her son suggested that she go for broccoli, whispering in her ear with a cheeky smile on his face.

Next, the five-year-old said that his mum should have a glass of ‘orange’, before adding that he wanted to play a game of catch.

Josie then asked him: ‘Can mummy have a shower? Mummy smells a bit, don’t she?’

Reggie nodded slightly and grinned from ear to ear, as the TV presenter burst into laughter.

Then, Josie was asked which fellow campmate she would be following first on social media and who she wanted to win, with Reggie answering both questions emphatically with: ‘Sam!’

So will Reggie’s prediction come to light? We’ll just have to wait and see!

The I’m A Celebrity final airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
