Serena Williams revealed this week that she’s been rubbing her own breast milk on her face in a bid to soothe sunburn.
The best part? The 42-year-old tennis champion insisted to her social media followers that the remedy actually worked.
Taking to TikTok, Serena, who welcomed her second child, daughter Adira River, into the world in August, explained: ‘So I completely got burned under my eye.’
Addressing her followers while standing in her bathroom wearing a sports bra, the doting mum continued: ‘Don’t ask. I was in the sun… long story.
‘Anyways, I’m trying some breast milk. It works for my kid — they say put breast milk on everything and I have a lot extra, so I’m gonna try it for a week or so under my eye and see how it goes.’
‘I mean, it already feels better, because — it hurts!’ added Serna, before noting: ‘All right, I’ll let you guys know how it goes.’

The superstar athlete captioned her post: ‘OK is this totally weird??? I have to say after a week of using MY breast milk under my eye — it worked! I’m dying to hear your thoughts.’
Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian confirmed the arrival of her second child over summer.

Soon after the announcement, Serena revealed her and Alexis’ first child, five-year-old Olympia, had taken to sisterhood like a pro.
The A-lister uploaded an Instagram photo of Olympia grinning widely as she cuddled her sister, who was wrapped up in a colourful blanket with a matching hat.
The adorable upload was captioned: ‘My sister and me.’
Serena and Alexis announced that baby number two was on the way in May, with the new mum unveiling her bump on the red carpet at the Met Gala.
They then blew everyone’s minds with an epic drone gender reveal.
