Metro – Tories fight net migration crisis: Rishi raises the barred

Rishi Sunak has “made it harder” for skilled workers to move to Britain from abroad, according to the Metro lead story, as it reports that the prime minister is trying to head off another immigration row.

Measures include migrants needing to earn at least £38,700 to get a visa, up from £26,200. Careworkers will also be barred from bringing in dependants from next April.

The front page also reports on the new Rwanda deal – which will be up and running by Spring.
