The Guardian – Air pollution from fossil fuels kills £5m people a year 

The Guardian reports that a new study has found that air pollution from fossil fuels kills 5 million people a year around the world – a higher toll than previously thought. 

With the COP28 summit due to get under way in Dubai this week, the paper says the study will “increase pressure on world leaders to take action”.
