Five former Wilko stores will be reopened today under a new name after being snapped up by a huge high-street retailer.
Poundland will open several of the shops on Saturday in a massive expansion which could help with the rising cost of living.
Wilko’s last remaining stores closed earlier this year after it fell into administration.
The stores were then bought up by rivals, including The Range and Poundland.
The budget retailer bought 71 stores with the first opening in October, according to The Sun.
Stores set to reopen today include in Stevenage, Camberley, Barnstable, Long Eaton and Retford.

Two more stores in Chester and Swindon are expected to open on December 9.
Another 15 Poundland stores will open in December including in Bedford, Shropshire, Liverpool and Watford.
More stores in Falkirk, London’s Wood Green, Sligo, Wells, Birmingham, Cumbernauld and Plymouth will also follow.
A total of 56 former Wilko stores have already reopened under the Poundland brand.
All Poundland stores across the UK will also now feature the Pep&co clothing range.

Austin Cooke, Poundland’s managing director said: ‘We excitedly continue to open and relocate stores at pace so we can bring our best offer, including all-new clothing, chilled and frozen food to customers, existing and new.
‘The monumental effort from our teams continues to amaze me, and it supports jobs and high streets right across Britain.
‘That’s 86 stores in 70 days that we’ll have opened successfully, and no one should underestimate the effort and energy that our teams have put into delivering that achievement – I certainly don’t. It’s phenomenal.’
Over 800 former employees of Wilko have been offered roles at Poundland since the brand went into administration.
