Mason left Dylan a knife (Picture: ITV)
Horrifying Coronation Street scenes have seen teenager Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) end up in possession of a deadly weapon, thanks to new friend Mason (Luca Toolan).
Mason continued to lead Dylan astray in recent scenes as he encouraged him to bunk off school, leaving Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) worried when the school informed him the Dylan hadn’t arrived.
While they were truanting, Mason and Dylan spotted Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) carrying a box of vapes, and Mason decided that they were going to steal it to sell them on.
Mason set about distracting Simon, and instructed Dylan to snatch the box.
Their plan worked, until Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) came knocking, having learnt what they’d done from Max Turner (Paddy Bever), who had bought one of the vapes.

Peter smashed the door in to get to Dylan, who protested his innocence while Mason legged it out of the backdoor.
After Peter’s outburst, Sean demanded to know what was going on, and insisted on searching all of Dylan’s belongings to make sure he was telling the truth.

However, Sean didn’t find anything, as Dylan has hidden the vapes in the bin, alongside a knife that Mason had given him.
Now that he was in the clear, Dylan gave the good news to Mason, who insisted that they should still sell the vapes, but this time Dylan should do it behind the counter of Prima Donna, where he was about to start his first shift.

At work, Dylan managed to sell one of his vapes without getting caught, and soon Mason had convinced him that this was a lucrative business opportunity for them both.
He also revealed that he had got another knife of his own, and told Dylan that he could keep the one he was hiding.
