Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has suffered a new injury setback which could sideline him for a month, according to reports.
Following his £60 million move from Chelsea in the summer, Mount has endured a disrupted start to his time at United after suffering an injury in August which kept him out for five games.
Mount was left out of England’s squad during the latest international break but was expected to feature in United’s Premier League clash with Everton on Sunday afternoon.
However, the Evening Standard reports that Mount could be out for up to a month due to a calf injury.
Speaking ahead of United’s clash with Everton, Erik ten Hag revealed: ‘Mason picked up an issue so we have to assess if he’s available for the game or not.’
