Financial Times – Pressure Mounts On OpenAI Board To Reinstate Altman As Chief Executive

The Financial Times reports that pressure is mounting on the board of OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, to reinstate Sam Altman as chief executive after it sacked him in a surprise ousting on Friday.

The front page’s main picture is of election officials in Argentina during the presidential vote yesterday. Provisional results suggest it has been won by right-wing libertarian outsider Javier Milei. The paper describes him as “a former television commentator known for his furious rants against the country’s political elite”.
