Midsomer Murders star Joss Ackland has died aged 95, his family has confirmed.
According to a statement shared with the PA news agency, the late star died ‘peacefully’ and was ‘surrounded by family’.
‘He will be remembered as one of Britain’s most talented and beloved actors,’ their statement read.
Ackland – whose CV boasts over 130 acting credits – was also a ‘beloved father’ and had been married to his wife Rosemary for 51 years, before she died from motor neurone disease in 2002.
