Duane Martin has made his thoughts on the Will Smith rumours very clear
After Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett denied the out-of-nowhere sex claims, Duane Martin has also weighed in on the rumours.
The Fresh Prince stars have been lifelong friends since meeting on the set of the 90s smash hit show but according to one person they’re much closer than that.
Will’s had a tough year, with Jada revealing intimate details about their marriage and apparent secret split, keeping fairly quiet on his personal matters.
However he was forced to confront rumours that he and Duane, 58, had had an intimate relationship and were caught by a man claiming to be Will’s former assistant.
While Will, 55, called them ‘unequivocally false’, his friend has now also addressed the claims – by not addressing them at all.
TMZ reports that sources shared that Duane will not dignify the sex rumour with a response.
He had been married to actress Tisha Campbell-Martin, sharing two sons
The rumour emerged after an interview with a man purporting to be Will’s former personal assistant, Brother Bilaal, went viral on TikTok.
In it, he claims he once walked in on the two men having a sexual encounter in the I, Robot star’s dressing room.
At the time of the alleged encounter, Will was married to Jada, while Martin was married to Tisha Campbell who he split with in 2020.
Will’s spokesperson shared: ‘This story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false.’
Another source told TMZ that the Aladdin actor was considering legal action over the claims.
Will and Duane have been lifelong friends in the industry
Even Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith spoke out on the rumours
Jada, 52, also spoke out on the matter as she left NYC’s iHeartRadio on Wednesday and declared to awaiting paparazzi: ‘We suin[g]!’
The relationship between Will and Jada, who share two children together, has been complex after the pair apparently separated in 2016.
She claimed the night at the Oscars where he slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made fun of her was the first time in years Will had called her his wife.
However she has since insisted that despite their split, they have no plans to celebrity divorce – and while they live in separate houses she claimed they were ‘working towards’ reconciling.
Enough said.
