EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley is feeling extremely grateful as her character Karen Taylor is set to leave the square.
It was announced earlier this year that Karen was going to be written out of the show after six years, and fans have been left wondering how she will leave.
Actress Lorraine, 47, has been active on social media in the last couple of days, responding to fan comments on the character and her current storyline.
However, she took the time to acknowledge her loyal followers for showing their love to the soap star.
Sharing a picture of her in character, Lorraine penned: ‘I hear ya! So many beautiful messages, too many to reply to each one but I’m definitely feeling the love.
‘Thank you they really do mean a lot.’

When her exit from the show was announced, Lorraine took to social media to express her sadness at having to say goodbye.
‘Thank you to [writer] Daran Little for creating the Taylors and to the BBC for giving me the opportunity to play such a fabulous character,’ she said.
‘I’ll be sad to be saying goodbye to Karen Taylor and will miss all the cast and crew at EastEnders.
‘However I’m looking forward to my next chapter and excited about being a jobbing Actor again & starting new ventures.

‘Again your kind words of support have been amazing!!! I’m going to miss my Taylor/Baker famalam Clair Norris, Danny Walters, Roger Griffiths and Matthew Morrison. Much love.’
Karen’s exit was confirmed earlier this year, with Metro.co.uk understanding that it was EastEnders’ decision to write the character out, with her final scenes set to air later this year.
It is not yet clear how Karen will leave Walford, though a number of theories have been flying around.
While some believe she may be killed off, others wonder if she may leave the Square broken hearted. After all, her son Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) is at the top of many fans’ list of suspects to be killed off at Christmas.
