Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) finds a loophole in upcoming Coronation Street episodes so he can continue gambling.
The builder relapsed in his addiction around the time Leo Thompkins’ body was found on the land acquired by the Bailey brothers.
Recently, Ed’s actions very nearly put Michael (Ryan Russell) behind bars. After winning on a bet, Ed stashed some cash in a bag that was accidentally picked up by his son.
As Michael headed to Underworld to try and get his job back, he ended up being questioned by DS Swain (Vicky Myers) over his involvement in Stephen’s (Todd Boyce) plan to steal the factory’s entire bank balance.

Michael tried his best to tell Swain that he was innocent but as he opened up the bag, the detective spotted the cash – which certainly didn’t look good.
In this new video, we see the moment Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) walks in on Ed quickly slamming his laptop shut.

Suspicious he’s gambling, Ronnie takes a look at the screen only to see Ed is looking at a Wendy House for Glory as a Christmas present.
Because of the lack of funds in Ed’s account, Ronnie is obviously curious as to how his brother is going to pay for it.

The character will end up using a credit card addressed to former resident Norris Cole while at the Casino, which decreases the chance of Ed’s loved ones discovering what he’s been up to.
But while the gambling continues, the addiction gets worse.
