Kylie Jenner accused of copying Ye with new clothing line and they do look very alike

Another day, another Kardashian brand slammed by fans – this time Kylie Jenner’s new clothing line is on the chopping block for looking a bit too familiar.

Following her makeup brand, the 26-year-old entrepreneur announced she would be launching a clothing range named Khy but it’s off to a rough start after fans accused her of copying Kanye West.

The youngest Kardashian took to Instagram to promote the second drop, which is filled with puffer jackets of various lengths.

Immediately, followers noted items and the overall vibe of the brand seemed to be mimicking that of her former brother-in-law.

She showed off a bright blue cropped coat and fans immediately noted similarities to a Yeezy design debuted in collaboration with Gap just last year.

‘Everybody acting like Kanye didn’t invent this whole look,’ one comment read before Kylie limited the function on her Instagram.

Another shadily wrote: ‘Ahh looks just like something Kanye would design!’

The jacket in question was the $200 ‘Round Jacket’ which had no seams, buttons, or zippers and was worn by Kanye himself in both the red and blue shades.

While Khy’s version – also available in blue – does have a zipper, the overall seamless ’round’ look does bear resemblance to Ye’s.

Kylie’s collection also includes slinky full-length body suits which fans also said were ‘giving Yeezy’ as his clothing ranges often feature these.

Kanye was dropped from numerous collaborations and collections last year after he was accused of anti-semitism and went on multiple internet rants.

His clothing range was pulled from multiple stores, leading to one sarcastic commenter who said: ‘Now we know where all the Adidas/Yeezy unsold merchandise went.’

This similarity is no surprise as the collaborative designers on this ‘drop 002’ were also Ye’s ‘ghost’ consultants; Sebastian Hunt and Dylan Richards.

That’s right, Khy collaborates with the same company – Entire Studios – who are already famous for their ‘signature brightly-hued puffer jacket’.

She revealed working with the Kiwi duo on her Instagram story days before the drop, stating: ‘They’re] one of my favourites.’

However, this isn’t the first time Khy has been accused of copying other designs – and it was only announced two weeks ago.

The first launch saw a black trenchcoat come under fire among a mass of pleather looks, claimed to be ripping off Products LTD designer Betsy Johnson.

Fans said even the bodysuit look with tights was Ye inspired (Picture: Kylie Jenner/Instagram)

Kylie disabled comments on her Instagram (Picture: Kylie Jenner/Instagram)

Betsy directly called out Khy on Instagram, saying she had ’emailed Kylie and all her team @products.ltd concept and language and a line sheet 6 MONTHS AGO.’

She continued: ‘Interesting concept Kylie… interesting. Thanks for the co-sign. F**k your support.’

The inaugural collection was said to be in collaboration with Namilia founders Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl as Khy aims to work with ‘iconic brands and global designers’.

Kylie has not addressed the accusations, although she did disable comments on her personal social media – the brand’s page still enables them.
