Paul hung out with Joseph (Picture: ITV)
Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) paid a visit to his uncle Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) in Monday’s (November 6) episode of Coronation Street, but was given a sad reminder about the things Paul can no longer do as a result of his MND.
Paul is now using a walking aid and a mobility chair to help him with his day to day life.
In tonight’s episode, he was seen in the cafe talking to Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) about his Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment.
Overhearing the conversation was Izzy (Cherylee Houston), who approached and told Paul it’s important to focus on what he can’t do rather than what he can, because the assessors constantly search for loopholes to not give someone the benefits.

That evening, Joseph was at the flat spending time with Paul. He wanted to play video games, but Paul broke the news the lack of mobility in his arms and hands means he can’t anymore.

Joseph was upset but a distraction came when Billy returned with biscuits. The young lad had been away on a camping trip with Chesney (Sam Aston) and made Billy and Paul chuckle when he called Billy ‘Vicar’ and offered his sympathies on his recent suspension.
