It’s all gone terribly wrong for Sam (Picture: ITV)
Sam Dingle (James Hooton) has landed himself in hot water in Emmerdale after Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) death.
Last night (November 2), flashback scenes aired that confirmed what happened before Craig was killed.
After being held hostage in a barn by Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Sam, Craig was let go, but Cain wound Sam up and made him change his mind about getting revenge the Dingle way.
They then found Craig on a field. All it took was for Craig to once again say that he never raped Lydia (Karen Blick) and Sam was beating and kicking him close to death.

This was where Sam and Craig’s interaction ended but in the pub, it became apparent he thought Craig’s death happened as a result of the injuries sustained in the fight.
Another flashback scene then allowed us to discover it was actually Kim Tate’s (Claire King) horse Ice that killed Craig, as the animal bolted and kicked the rapist to the floor.

With Cain and Kim working together to hide the truth, it has left Cain in a stressful position. He told Sam last night that he wouldn’t be going to prison and it was important to trust him, but a paranoid and overwhelmed Sam completely ignored Cain when DS Wise and his colleague arrived.
