Nearly 100 British nationals listed as eligible to leave Gaza via Egypt
Nearly 100 British nationals trapped in Gaza are set to leave on Friday and cross the border into Egypt.
The list of 127 people approved to leave includes 92 people described as British citizens.
There are roughly 200 British nationals in Gaza.
A small number of Brits have already left the Strip since the border opened on Wednesday.
Border crossings in and out of Gaza have been closed since 7 October Hamas attacks on Israel, which killed more than 1,400 people and more than 240 were taken hostage.
In retaliation, Israel has launched a massive bombing campaign on Gaza killing more than 9,000 people, and has placed the strip under a “complete siege” and recently started a ground assault on the north of Gaza.
