Asha gushed about her new work colleague (Picture: ITV)
Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) was left disappointed when Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) returned home from her paramedic training late in recent Coronation Street scenes, with things only getting worse when Asha revealed where she’d been.
Having been invited round to Aadi’s (Adam Hussain) flat for afternoon tea, Nina was forced to go alone when Asha’s training ran over.
The tea party ended dramatically when Aadi discovered that lover Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) had left him to go back to her husband, and made Nina swear that she wouldn’t tell Asha what had happened.
Back at home, Asha finally returned, and revealed that she had been out for drinks with new workmate Isla and had lost track of time.

With a roll of her eyes, Nina informed Asha of what she had missed, leaving out the important detail of Aadi’s break up.
Soon, Nina had broached the topic of Isla, and Asha was quick to sing her praises.
As she spoke, it was clear that Asha admired her, and Nina seemed to be feeling a hint of jealousy.
