Princess Kate revealed that all three of her children like to help her out in the kitchen, with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all having their own tasks.

Kate Middleton makes pizzas with children in Islington in 2019
Princess Kate has been enjoying the last couple of weeks at home with her children for October half-term, and she previously revealed that one activity they love to do together is cooking.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are all currently pupils at Lambrook School near Windsor, close to their family home Adelaide Cottage, but while they have no school they can still help out with preparing family meals.
While on a royal engagement at Lavender Primary School in 2019 Kate chatted with the children about the food they love to make together, with her children particularly enjoying getting a bit messy.
One family speciality is cheesy pasta, with George, Charlotte and Louis each having their own role in the all-important pasta and sauce making process.
Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, said after the visit: “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her.

“They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”
There are healthier options available for the Wales family too, as Kate has said she and the children also grow vegetables together in their garden.
In 2019, Kate told Mary Berry that the family grows their own veggies, namely carrots, beans and beetroots, with youngest Louis having a particular fondness for beetroot despite its strong flavour.

The Princess told the cooking legend: “We grow our own vegetables, we’ve got carrots, beans, beetroot’s a massive favourite, Louis absolutely loves beetroot.”
She also joked that her daughter naturally “loves her Charlotte potatoes”, although interestingly another sophisticated favourite of the young royal is an olive.
Another treat that Kate makes with her brood is pizza made with Mary Berry‘s pizza dough, as she suggested that cooking with the kids is an important part of their development.

The Princess said that she liked to allow her family to “be creative and as independent as possible with it”.
In another sweet anecdote, Kate revealed that Mary was actually one of the first words Louis said, as she explained, “because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf”.
She added: “And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books and he would say, ‘That’s Mary Berry‘, so he would definitely recognise you if he saw you today.”
