Paul entered the Big Brother house as favourite to win but has fallen out of favour with the public, even if he’s still strangely popular with his housemates.
Until this week he’s remained under the radar but was hit with backlash from viewers when he refused to stop making noise in the bedroom while people were asleep because he likes to go to bed at 3am, even though there is an entire house for him to galivant around.
The next day, ironically, he blew up at Olivia and Noky out of nowhere during the ants task, blaming being ‘tired’ for his foul mood.
On Wednesday night though, he managed to escape being put up for eviction, only receiving one nomination from his housemates.
Watch Big Brother’s Big Body Language
Metro.co.uk has launched its new Big Brother’s Big Body Language series with body language expert Judi James, available to watch on our YouTube channel every Thursday from 6pm.
In the latest episode of Big Brother’s Big Body Language with Judi James, the expert explained how Paul is ‘deliberately’ using his physical strength to intimidate the others, especially the women.
Looking at his outburst against Olivia and Noky, Judi said: ‘He actually got up as though “I’m losing the battle so I’m going to get up and loom over you.”

‘I’m surprised he wasn’t topless, only because he got his ant costume on.
‘Until now we hadn’t really seen him that much; all we got was “the legend that is Paul” and then suddenly we did get to see him.
‘There was a hypocritical aspect there because he was the one that said, “I’m going to keep you guys awake all night, because I like to stay up and play games, and you’ve got to put up with it.” But then suddenly, “Oh, I’m tired.”
‘Also, he really does seem to have a problem with dominant women leaders. They were sitting down, they were keeping out of it, but he really seemed to want to take them on and the fact that Olivia had sided with Noky, it was a really silly battle to be having.’
Paul blamed his outburst on being tired – after refusing to let others sleep (Picture: ITV)
After sleeping on their row for a night, Paul saw Noky laying down in the sofa outside on her own and took the opportunity to apologise. But the moment took her completely off-guard.
‘The way that he resolved it made it look a lot worse because again, it was all about his strength,’ Judi continued.
‘When he decided to make up, Noky was laying down in the garden and he powered on top of her, reminding her that “you might be powerful, but actually, look, I’ve got the physical power.”

‘Then Olivia, this play fighting that they’re doing really annoyed me. When they made up he came and put his arm round her neck! People will get called out in there for using a word that might just about with the wind behind you be seen as offensive but somebody that is doing that physicality doesn’t get anything said to them?
‘That’s perhaps for me a bit unfair, that’s maybe that’s where he should be getting called out.
‘He’s a big guy and I think he needs to bring it down a bit.’
Judi noted Paul hasn’t puffed up his chest to square up to any men in the house.
‘I haven’t seen him go up to Dylan and wrestle him or even Tom, even if his play fighting with Olivia is a bit intimate or even sexual,’ she said.
In the latest episode of Big Brother’s Big Body Language, Judi also discussed how Kerry’s rebranded herself to gain popularity, Dylan’s desperation for power, the throuple that is Henry, Jordan and Matty as well as explaining ‘The Yinrun effect’.
