A Celebrity SAS star has been left screaming in pain after a shocking accident saw her land on concrete after jumping off a platform.
Former Neighbours actress Zima Anderson, 25, is one of the famous faces who had been cast in the current season of the Australian reality series.
Between 2019 and 2022, she starred in 551 episodes of the soap, which recently returned to screens.
While the latest episode began with her in high spirits and joking about how she’d worn the same pair of underwear in the week since arriving on base, Zima later had to withdraw from the series after the terrifying accident.
In a challenge, the recruits had been tasked with jumping off a tower into the ocean, however when it was her turn to do so, Zima instead landed on concrete pavement rather than the water.
As the cameras cut away, a loud thud could be heard as chief instructor Ant Middleton and the medical crew ran to her aid.

Zima was then seen lying on the floor surrounded by people as she let out several blood-curdling screams.
As Ant tried to calm her down and reassured her the exercise didn’t matter anymore, she was seen crying and saying she’d been determined to get it done.
‘That does not matter. You matter,’ he said.
One of the medical crew then offered the actress pain relief before putting her in a neck brace.

Later speaking to the camera, Ant said that the challenges were designed to be ‘as real as possible’ and that in real life, ‘accidents happen all the time’.
‘We have to make sure that you can deal with those risks and that when it comes to real life training, you are capable and aware of having your own life in your hands,’ he said.
After being put on a stretcher and taken to hospital by ambulance, it was revealed that Zima had suffered a fracture to her right elbow and thus had to withdraw.
Before she left, the actress jokingly told Ant through tears that: ‘I swear I was going to be a good SAS recruit.’
After the episode went to air, Zima shared a series of photos of herself competing on the show, as well as after the accident, posing in a sling with the commanding staff in one photo and watching The Holiday while recovering in hospital in Jordan, where the series is filmed.
In the caption for the post, she wrote: ‘I could not be more grateful to have heard the stories of and been bossed around by these legends.

‘Honestly could not thank you all more for this experience, all your words and encouragement.’
She went on to thank the ‘whole SAS crew’, the doctors who helped her and friends who were by her side as she recovered.
The actress added: ‘Lastly the legend of a group I did it with – all powerful and hilarious in their own way! And thank GOD I didn’t break my spine. Number 2 over and out.’
Other celebrities appearing on the current season of the show include world champion boxer Anthony Mundine, Thai cave rescue hero Craig Challen, former Bachelor Tim Robards and convicted drug smuggler Cassie Sainsbury.
SAS Australia airs on Channel Seven.
