Emmerdale spoilers for next week follow, with a jam-packed picture gallery above previewing the upcoming scenes including a shock tragedy and two lovers almost caught out.
The tragedy comes in the form of news about Tom King’s (James Chase) mum, who has died. Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is stunned when she finds out and is quick to try and support Tom, who puts on a brave face for her.
Elsewhere in the village, Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) grows jealous when she sees Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) having a drink with David Metcalfe’s (Matthew Wolfenden) date Abby.
One thing leads to another, with Victoria and Jacob unable to resist as they share a passionate kiss!
Victoria, however, soon believes that this is a mistake, but later in the week she and Jacob give into temptation once more, spending the night together!

David subsequently arrives at Vic’s flat, but is the truth set to be exposed? Or will Jacob manage to stay out of sight until his dad has left?
Ryan Stocks (James Moore), meanwhile, is heartbroken when he learns that he’s not a match for Oscar.
Gail (Rachael Gill-Davis), however, is a match and thus she prepares to visit Oscar to share the news, with Ryan coming along and meeting his son for the first time.

The trio get on incredibly well, leaving Sophie (Martha Cope) conflicted. Ryan sees Gail off ahead of her surgery, and they’re both hopeful that they can be a part of Oscar’s life moving forward.
But will this prove to be the case? Or will Sophie’s concerns lead her to take action against Oscar’s biological parents?
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, October 23 and Friday, October 27 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
